PROPERTIES

Appearance	:	Pale Yellow Clear Liquid
Ionic Nature	:	Anionc
Solubility	:	Miscible with water in all proportion. 
Stability	:	Stable to acid and mild alkaline condition. However, Unstable to stronger alkalies.
PH 	:	About 6 to 7  (1% Solution)
Shelf Life	:	Six Month


APPLICATION

O S A 3X5X finds its application in textile preparatory processes viz. desizing, scouring, boiling, bleaching, dyeing etc where rapid wetting is desired. It is very useful for the purpose of rewetting i.e producing highly absorbent yarn or fabric such as sanforising, toweling and surgical cotton.

RECOMMANDATION

A. For wetting in preparatory processes         1.0 to 2.0 g/l
B. For rewetting :
     (i)   Goods for sanforising	         1 g/l on the weight of material.
     (ii)  Towelling	         1 g/l to 3 g/l on the weight of material.
     (iii) Surgical cotton	         0.1 to 0.2% on the weight of material.
