CONCENTRATED CATIONIC SOFTNER
ECONOMICAL, EFFICIENT AND EASY TO USE

Softener CS is pre-quaternised Cationic SOFTNER in concentrated form. It is easy to use.

Softener CS is manufactured from selected raw materials which when diluted for making ready to use form, yields off-white viscous paste and it imparts luxurious soft feel to treated fabric.

Softener CS is simple to use and does not require cumbersome methods for dilution like addition of organic acids or amines. The method of dilution is given below:

 		          TAKE      20      PARTS SOFTENER CS

   ADD       80     PARTS  Tap Water; cold or preferably warm water under high-speed stirring.


Stir the mass till uniform viscous paste is formed and Softener CS is completely dispersed in water. Though warm water is not essential, is preferable due to variable temperatures at different places and different climatic conditions and seasons. The 20% dilution product prepared as above should be used as usual in place of the ready to use product purchased from the other sources. For captive consumption, 5 - 10% concentration quality would be ideal for use. 

Softener CS can be used alone or along with synthetic resins and other compatible finishing agent. The use of synthetic resin along with Softener CS will impart finish with good reinforcing effect and the finish obtained will be durable and overcome the dulling effects of starch based stiffening agents. The stability of Softener CS in resin finish bath depends on the quantity and quality of catalyst employed. The padded goods should be dried on stenter at around 110  C temperature.

Softener CS offers good washing fastness compared to most of anionic softeners. It is incompatible with anionic finishing products and optical whiteners. Test should be conducted before the bulk use of suitability on colored fabric for shades and fastness variations which are likely to occur.

Softener CS produces an excellent soft feel with smooth handle to wide range of fabrics such as cotton viscose, staple, polyamide and polyester fabrics at an economical cost.
